Who we are
Light Empires (“we”, “us”) is a seasonal decorating and lighting company serving homeowners across the Phoenix metropolitan area. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information you may provide
When you request a quote, book a service, or apply for a job, you may voluntarily give us details such as your name, contact information, service address, preferred service dates, decorating preferences and details, how you heard about us, and, for job applicants, application information you choose to submit through our form. Requesting a quote does not take payment or guarantee a date.
Technical and log data
Our hosting provider may collect standard technical usage and log data (such as approximate region, device type, and request timestamps) as part of operating and securing the website.
Mailing list
If you join our mailing list, you sign up directly on Square through Square’s signup form, which asks for your email address and phone number. Square manages our customer and marketing list, including the signup offer. We do not store your mailing list details on our servers or create a separate newsletter subscriber database. You can unsubscribe at any time through Square or by emailing hello@lightempires.com.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to respond to quotes, contact you about your request, book and provide services, review job applications, send marketing emails to mailing list subscribers, and operate, secure, and maintain our business and legal records. We do not bundle marketing consent into quote requests.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to provide services and operate our business, for example with authorized representatives and decorators on our crew, and with service providers that support quoting, applications, email, and payments. These providers include Hostinger (website hosting), Google Forms (job applications), Square (estimates, payments, and our customer/marketing list, including mailing list sign-ups), and Meta (Facebook) and Reddit, which measure quote conversions and ad performance through their advertising pixels only when you allow marketing cookies. We do not send your name, email, phone, address, or message details to Meta or Reddit. We may also disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed to provide services, review hiring, and maintain business and legal records, then delete or de-identify it unless retention is required for legitimate legal or record-keeping reasons.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or ask us to stop marketing communications, by emailing hello@lightempires.com. Deletion may be subject to legitimate legal or record-keeping needs. Cookie, external-content, and marketing choices can be changed anytime using the Cookie settings link in the footer. The Meta and Reddit advertising pixels only load and measure conversions when you allow marketing cookies, and stop when you withdraw that consent.
Children
This website is intended for adult homeowners and job applicants. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
External services
External services such as Google Forms and our hosting and payment providers have their own privacy policies. When you use an embedded application or follow an external link, that service’s terms and privacy practices apply.
